I was invited by the organisers Jenny Purcell & Katie Collins to be the photographer for the Barnoldswick Bake Off challenge this was a very successful fund raising event and there were some marvellous cakes on display as you can see in my Events Gallery. The monies raised were allocated to the Operation Oliver campaign to assist with his recovery following his operation and Every Angel deserves a headstone for baby Harrison.
The remaining monies were used to purchase Christmas presents for children on the cancer and bone marrow wards at the Manchester Children’s Hospital. These were taken on the 3rd December by Jenny and Katie along with representative members from the Alma Inn Colne. Mr Lee Duerden very kindly provided his Rolls Royce to take the presents to Manchester in style.
Well done to Jenny and Katie for all their hard work it really paid off, their efforts and those of the local community were very worthwhile and benefited so many children.
